Fulltime PIX registration includes all PIX sessions and small workshops and WPC sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, Trade exhibitions on Monday (PIX only), Tuesday & Wednesday, WPC opening ceremony on Monday, morning and afternoon teas and stand-up lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday, a PIX satchel containing the proceedings and other material.

Fulltime PIX group registration all entitlements of full time PIX registration and applies when six or more people from the same organisation complete and send in their registration forms at the same time.

Day PIX registration all entitlements of fulltime PIX registration for selected PIX day only

Day PIX group registration all entitlements of fulltime PIX group registration for selected PIX day only and applies when six or more people from the same organisation complete and send in their registrations forms at the same time with a single payment. There is no discount for social functions or partners.

Day PIX student registration all entitlements of full time PIX registration for selected PIX day/s only.

Dual Registration includes all PIX sessions and small workshops and all WPC sessions, PIX and WPC trade exhibitions on Monday to Thursday, morning and afternoon teas and stand-up lunches on Tuesday to Friday, both PIX and WPC satchels containing the proceedings and other material and admission to WPC opening ceremony and welcome reception on Monday.

Accompanying Persons

Accompanying persons wishing to attend any of the tours need to register for these by contacting Monique Cameron on 07 3858 5594 or email: moniquec@eventplanners.com.au.

Accompanying partners are most welcome to join delegates for lunch (AU$40 per head). Please let the registration desk know by 9.00am if your guest will be joining you for lunch.

Accommodation

Special rates have been negotiated with the following venues and are applicable for extended stays, subject to availability. To take advantage of these savings, please read the following information carefully and complete the accommodation booking section on the registration form at the end of this brochure. These room rates are available only by booking through the Conference Managers.

  • Rates - prices quoted per room per night are in Australian dollars and are GST inclusive.
  • Deposits - a deposit of at least one night's tariff must accompany your registration form. Alternatively, your credit card details will be passed on to the hotel. The hotel, at its discretion, may process this debit immediately or wait until check-out. The final account must be settled on checkout direct with the accommodation venue. A tax invoice/ receipt will be issued at that time.
  • Book early - while all reservations are subject to availability, early bookings are encouraged to secure your preferred hotel. Special rates cannot be guaranteed for reservations received on or after 29 May 2008.
  • Early arrivals - if you would like to check in before 1500 hours, please pre-register (book for the night before). This is advisable for international delegates arriving on early morning flights.
  • Late arrivals - please indicate if you will arrive at your hotel after 1800 hours to avoid your room being released and a no show fee being charged.
  • Cancellations - no accommodation deposits will be refunded on or after 29 May 2008. In addition, cancellations in whole or part may incur an extra penalty at the hotel's discretion- these range from 14 days to 48 hours prior to check in - please check with the Congress managers for individual cancellation policies.
  • New bookings or changes to existing reservations made on or after 29 May 2008 will incur an additional AU$22 processing fee.

Registration cancellation policy

All cancellations must be notified in writing to Event Planners Australia. Cancellations received prior to 29 February 2008 will be refunded less a handling fee of AU$120. Cancellations received on or after 1 March and prior 29 May will receive a 50% refund of registration fees paid. No refunds will be paid for cancellations on or after 30 May. If you cannot attend, your registration may be transferred to another member of your organisation. Please note that registration refunds will not be granted based on inability to obtain a visa to enter Australia - if delegates are unsure of their ability to obtain a visa we recommend they investigate travel insurance.

Payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.
Payment may be made via:

  • Cheques or bank drafts - payable to Event Planners Australia, in Australian currency drawn on an Australian bank and free of all charges
  • by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club). Please note that debits to your credit card will appear as Event Planners Australia on your statement.
  • or via EFT (see details below)

Payment must accompany your registration form. Conference registration cannot be confirmed until payment is received. Payment must be received by the due date to receive the discount, otherwise the next level of payment will be charged. Also, please note accommodation cannot be booked until a deposit of at least one night's tariff or credit card details are received by the Conference Managers.
