Inclusions - Full PIX registration includes attendance at all sessions on Monday and Tuesday (1 day registration includes all sessions for the chosen day), optional attendance at the trade display on Sunday, satchel, PIX proceedings, morning/afternoon teas and lunches. Group Registrations - To qualify for the group registration rate, 6 or more people must register from the one company. A registration form must be submitted for each attendee. Students – A copy of student identification must accompany your registration form. Family member – is defined as a spouse/partner or other direct family member (son/son in law, daughter/daughter in law).

Additional PIX Events

Attendance at the social events and tunnel ventilation workshop is not included in the Delegate Registration fees.

Accompanying Persons

Accompanying persons wishing to attend any of the events need to register for these by completing the registration brochure. 

Accompanying partners are most welcome to join delegates for lunch (AU$40 per head). Please register before attending the conference so that we can ensure you are catered for.

Accommodation

Special rates have been negotiated with the following venues and are applicable for extended stays, subject to availability. To take advantage of these savings, please read the following information carefully and complete the hotel accommodation booking form from the Accommodation tab of our website.  Bookings are made directly with the hotel. • Rates - prices quoted per room per night are in Australian dollars and are GST inclusive.
• Deposits - a deposit of at least one night's tariff must accompany your registration form. Alternatively, your credit card details will be passed on to the hotel. The hotel, at its discretion, may process this debit immediately or wait until check-out. The final account must be settled on checkout direct with the accommodation venue. A tax invoice/ receipt will be issued at that time.
• Book early - while all reservations are subject to availability, early bookings are encouraged to secure your preferred hotel. Special rates cannot be guaranteed for reservations received on or after 30 April 2010.
• Early arrivals - if you would like to check in before 1500 hours, please pre-register (book for the night before). This is advisable for international delegates arriving on early morning flights.
• Late arrivals - please indicate if you will arrive at your hotel after 1800 hours to avoid your room being released and a no show fee being charged.
• Cancellations - cancellations will need to be arranged directly with the hotel.  Cancellation policies are outlined on relevant booking form.  Accommodation refunds must be negotiated directly with the hotel.

Registration cancellation policy

Registration refunds will be given for any cancellations made more than one week prior to the conference.  There are no refunds on cancellations made less than one week prior to the conference, all other cancellations will incur a 10% surcharge. Delegates unable to attend are welcome to send an alternative delegate.

Payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.
Payment may be made via:

• Cheques or bank drafts - payable to PIX Association in Australian currency drawn on an Australian bank and free of all charges
• by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express). Please note there is a 2% surcharge for Amex cards.  Unfortunately we cannot accept Diners Card.
• or via EFT (see details below)

Payment must accompany your registration form. Conference registration cannot be confirmed until payment is received. Payment must be received by the due date to receive the discount, otherwise the next level of payment will be charged.

Details of the Conference bank account for electronic funds transfers

Please ensure that the amount transferred is equal to the total due, and that any bank charges are covered separately. To assist in the allocation of your payment, please fax transfer form to +61 7 5429 8486 immediately after payment to ensure prompt allocation of your payment. Please ensure that your name and organisation are included on the transfer notice.
