We invite you to attend PIX2012, the Australasian Milling Conference (AMC) and the AVPA Scientific Meeting to be held from Sunday 20 to Thursday 24 May 2012 at the international standard Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Broadbeach, Queensland.
PIX is now recognised as the Premier Australian Poultry Industry Conference and Trade Exhibition. This year we are excited to announce that we will be combining with the Australasian Milling Conference, bringing delegates from the stockfeed and flour milling industries together. As a result, we anticipate that over 1000 delegates will attend. We will also be welcoming delegates from the nearby Asia Pacific Region, including New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Asia and Fiji.
PIX/AMC 2012 includes the industry’s largest, most extensive trade exhibition in Australia, an exciting social program and numerous workshops, including our highly successful full-day Tunnel Ventilation Workshop for broiler growers.
The comprehensive, world-class PIX lecture program continues for two days, filled with the latest in innovation and information, with experts from both Australia and overseas. The program is streamed into chicken meat, egg production, including free range and organic and food safety, so there will be topics of interest for each and every delegate.
Workshops on numerous special interest areas, including hatchery, breeders, veterinary advisors, and tunnel ventilation will also be on offer. For the more technically-minded, the Australasian Veterinary Poultry Association (AVPA) will be holding a scientific meeting in conjunction with PIX. All are welcome to attend this event.
The AMC lecture program will cover all aspects of feed and flour milling, with a mix of both international and local speakers. Sessions will include areas such as grain availability, technological advances in milling and feed testing technology.
At PIX/AMC 2012, the Trade Show will be bigger and better than ever before, with over 6300m2 of floor space, allowing over 100 exhibitors to demonstrate their latest products and equipment in comfort. In fact, the trade show has come to be seen as a must-do event for suppliers to the poultry industry.
Let’s not forget the social side of PIX/AMC 2012. It’s a great chance for you to catch up with old friends and acquaintances, meet new ones and enjoy the hospitality that the 2012 conference and Queensland’s Gold Coast have to offer.
