WORKSHOP PROGRAM
During the 2 days of PIX/AMC 2012, a number of free workshops will be conducted, covering areas such as breeder management, hatchery management and disease investigation, all run by leaders in their field.
Breeders
Dr Keith Bramwell from the University of Arkansas will lead workshops discussing how to optimise egg quality and viability. With a maximum of 50 people per workshop you’re sure to have your questions addressed. The one and a half hour workshop will be repeated 4 times.
Hatchery
Scott Martin from Cobb Vantress will again lead our successful hatchery workshop.
Take the opportunity to discuss the latest in hatchery technology and practice. The one
and a half hour workshop session will be repeated in 4 time slots. Each group is limited
to 27 people. The program is designed specifically for people working in hatcheries.
Ask a Vet
Four of Australia’s leading poultry veterinarians are making themselves available to lead
discussions on disease management in either meat chicken or layer flocks. Here is an
opportunity to gain a greater understanding of how to respond to your flock’s health
challenges. Each one and a half hour workshop session will be fully interactive and will
address your concerns. The workshops are for farmers and technical service personnel.
Check out the PIX2010 program to see the types of issues tackled at PIX.
