Special rates have been negotiated with the following venues and are applicable for extended stays, subject to availability. To take advantage of these savings, please read the following information carefully and complete the accommodation booking form accessible below or it will come with the PIX 2010 registration kit. The base room rates for a single, double or twin room per night are Conrad Jupiters $180, Sofitel $210 and Crowne Plaza $165. Special rates including breakfast are available. These room rates are available only by booking through the Conference Managers. Please use the PIX 2010 booking form below or one that is part of the registration kit.

Crown Plaza

Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise is set amongst lush tropical gardens. The heart of Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, surf beaches, Jupiter’s Casino and some of the best shopping in Queensland are all within walking distance of the hotel.  Bus transfers can be arranged for $10 per person per day for 10 or more people.

Majority of rooms boast Pacific Ocean views and all have balconies.  The hotel boasts two restaurants and two bars including Queensland’s only revolving restaurant, Four Winds, 26 floors above the glittering Gold Coast.  The hotel’s conference facilities can accommodate from 10 to 550 people in a variety of styles. General Information

Rates - Prices quoted per room per night are in Australian dollars and are GST inclusive.

Deposits - Payment for the hotel must be made to PIX in full with the registration fee.  A tax invoice will be issued.  Payments include the nightly room rate only and do not include any meals, minibar, in-house movies or other hotel incidentals.

Book early - while all reservations are subject to availability, early bookings are encouraged to secure your preferred hotel. Special rates cannot be guaranteed for reservations received on or after 31 March 2010.

Early arrivals - if you would like to check in before 1400 hours, please pre-register (book for the night before). This is advisable for international delegates arriving on early morning flights.

Late arrivals - please indicate if you will arrive at your hotel after 1800 hours to ensure your booking remains valid.

Cancellations - no accommodation deposits will be refunded on or after 31 March 2010. In addition, cancellations in whole or part may incur an extra penalty at the hotel's discretion - these range from 14 days to 48 hours prior to check in - please check with the Conference managers for individual cancellation policies.

New bookings or changes to existing reservations made on or after 31 March 2010 will incur an additional AU$22 processing fee. All information is correct at time of printing and is subject to change without notice.
